Sadiaa Black Beauty Guide, the premiere directory and news platform dedicated to Black-owned beauty brands, has declared the third full week of August as National Black Beauty Week. Now in its second year, the celebration is designed to help change how the world sees, celebrates, and experiences Black beauty.
National Black Beauty Week presents a focused opportunity for the beauty world to help normalize Black beauty and push past statistics and feel-good declarations. The goal is to help Black women embrace their beauty and to help change the perception of beauty through conversations and actionable game plans.
